Dorothy's Shoe Site
Colonial America

Colonial shoes were handmade. The people that made the shoes were called shoemakers. Shoemakers were also known a cobblers.

Men's and women's shoes were fully welded, and made from thick, heavy leather on top. Some people wore the earliest clogs. Men wore shoes with silver buckles. Women wore boots with buckles.

I chose colonial America for a play called "Hamilton".
